MyFTB for Tax Professionals
MyFTB is an online platform designed specifically for tax professionals like you. With MyFTB, you can easily manage your client accounts, access important tax information, and streamline your workflow.
To access MyFTB, simply visit MyFTB and log in using your credentials. If you don't have an account yet, you can easily create one by following the instructions on the website.
Power of Attorney
As a tax professional, you may need to represent your clients before the Franchise Tax Board (FTB). To do so, you will need to submit a Power of Attorney form. This form authorizes you to act on behalf of your clients and access their tax information.

Tax Information Authorization
In addition to the Power of Attorney, you may also need to obtain a Tax Information Authorization (TIA) from your clients. The TIA allows you to access specific tax information for your clients, such as transcripts and account details.

Report a Systemic Issue
If you are aware of a trending tax-related problem that is affecting multiple taxpayers, we encourage you to notify the FTB. By reporting systemic issues, you help us identify and address any big picture problems that may require our attention.
